Our History

When Larry Hill and Joe Thomas decided to build on the success they had achieved with their first partnership together in the automobile business (Thomas-Hill Pontiac Olds GMC...now Larry Hill Pontiac GMC in Sevierville, Tennessee), they knew that if at all possible, they wanted to continue serving the needs of the Sevier County area. Since it had been a few years since the folks of this fast-growing area had a hometown Chrysler dealer, it seemed like the right idea at the right time.

With the invaluable assistance of Steve Burgin (son of Gene Burgin of Burgin Dodge in Knoxville), a partnership was forged that led to the opening of Thomas-Hill-Burgin Chrysler Jeep Dodge's brand new state-of-the-art facility in July 2001.

From day one, it has been our goal to treat every customer as the most important person in our dealership...because they are. That "small town" way of doing business must be working. As we enter our eigth year in business, repeat and referral customers consistently account for over 40% of our monthly sales!

Beating out the "big city" boys in the Knoxville and Tri-Cities areas to be recognized as the the Number One Volume Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealer in East Tennessee (out of 22 dealers) for 2004, 2005 and 2007 is an accomplishment we couldn't have realized were it not for our customers. But we also believe it proves what can be achieved with the right product, the right location and most importantly, the right people.
